The Queensland Anglican Schools Workplace Agreement 2009 has been presented to schools and on the 11th June 2009, schools provided employees with copies of, or ready access to, the agreement along with advice and details of contact persons in the case of any queries regarding the agreement, supporting information or the process.
Some form of vote took place on or after the 19th June 2009, and the voting process was completed by 26th June 2009. All employees at each school were eligible to vote and votes were decided on a simple majority of the votes recorded basis (that is 50% +1).
Presently, the agreements are being lodged with the Workplace Authority for registration.
The Single Bargaining Unit is very thankful for the efforts of all employees and employer members in getting to this point and the individual employer / site Union Collective Agreements before you now represent the best possible negotiated position for all.
